On October 7, 2009, Daniel P. Fredericks began serving as Executive Director to lead UIM International. Dan knows the ministry of UIM, born on the Navajo reservation in 1957, and growing up in the context of the ministries of UIM.

Pray for Dan and Julie Fredericks as they, along with the administrative team, seek to lead UIM International as a ministry that will in all things focus on the GLORY of God, the GREATNESS of Christ, the GRANDUER of the Gospel, and GRATITUDE of heart in Service.

In a recent letter to UIM International’s Administrators and Missionary family, Dan wrote the following exhortation, “The purpose of UIM is to establish indigenous churches among Native Indian, Mexican, and Hispanic peoples of North America built on the Scriptures and functioning within their cultural orientation.

UIM exists because of, and for, the statements above. We exist to reach First Nations Native [Indigenous] Indian, Mexican and Hispanic people of North America. If this need did not exist, if these people did not exist or remain in need of being reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, UIM would have no reason for existence. Let me repeat - If this need did not exist, if these people did not exist or remain in need of being reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, UIM would have no reason for existence. We would have no valid reason to appeal for “laborers” and for the resources necessary to support and sustain missionaries and ministries targeted to these defined people groups. We are “debtors,” in this respect. This is our MISSION!”
