In 1958 we expanded the Gospel reach to First Nation people groups in Canada. From British Columbia to Quebec, we’re making Jesus known in an otherwise spiritually dark place. Your prayers are needed as we near the completion of the lodge at Rock Nest Ranch in Houston, British Columbia. Our Canada staff would encourage you to explore the opportunity God has for you by serving on a short-term basis. This will allow you to see firsthand the work God has in Canada and how you may fit into the Canadian team.

Carrier Bible Fellowship is in need of a missionary couple to come alongside in leadership and sharing the Gospel with a number of reserves in the Fort Saint James area.

Kitwanga is a small reserve on the junction of highway 16 and the Cassiar highway going north to the Yukon. Kitwanga has a number of young families who are searching for someone to share the Gospel with them on a full-time basis.

Hazelton lies at the junction of the Bulkley River and the Skeena River. UIM has had representation on the reserve in the past but is currently without a full-time missionary.

Situated on Highway 16 about midway between Prince George and Prince Rupert, Burns Lake is a center for many First Nations reserves. It has been many years since UIM has had a team member in this area.
